Course
objectives: Examination
and analysis will take the form of survey and assessment of resources and existing
agricultural systems. Students will formulate and consider alternative management
strategies for those resources. Survey will take into account demographic and
economic factors as well as the natural resources. Example for study will be
drawn from prevailing agricultural systems in Southeast Asia as Exemplified
by Thai agriculture. The course will take a form of field trips, assembling
data, assessment and report writing, group discussion will consider alternative
strategies and will be followed seminar presentations.
