What
are the differences between labels and annotation in ArcGIS?
Why do you need to convert labels to annotation? How would you do it?
a)
Create two thematic maps of land use by assigning suitable style to
each land use type
using the field CROP_EN. Label only the features
that are deciduous
forest, hill evergreen forest and paddy with Tahoma 16
Bold font and without duplication labels for each land
use type.
b)
Create the thematic map of major land use types using the field
LANDUSE_TY. (In this field
A = Agriculture, F = Forestry, M = Mixed land uses
W
= Water body and U = Urban). Label all major land use types without any
duplications. Add the stream
to this data frame and label the main stream near
