Description: TThe course in focus on
edaphic and climatic resources in relation to crop production. Climatic
data including rainfall characteristics and distribution and evaportranspiration
are examined. Simple water balance models are discussed with respect
to potential growing season. Approaches to agroclimatic, land suitability
assessment, and agro-ecological zoning of Thailand are introduced. |
