Prerequisite:

Course objectives: - To equip students with ability to analyse and use decision analysis for the management of uncertainty and risks in agriculture. - To equip students with ability to adapt principles and techniques in decision making analysis for agricultural planning and natural resource management.


Course Description: Decision analysis for supporting decision making in agriculture and natural resource management. Principles and techniques in multi-criteria decision making to solve complex problems involving multi-attributes and multi-objectives. Risk analysis and management in agriculture. Decision under uncertainties at different hierarchical levels, from farm to policy making and planning in agricultural systems.
